The New Way to Eat Pizza!
The History of Pizza a Cone started one morning in March 2011. In a family conversation, the vision to create something different "cone-shaped pizza" arises. Hence the name in Italian Pizza a Cone.
"I've had experience in several industries, but this time, we had to do something different in the pizza industry. This concept was brought by God to our family, and this was what we had to do", said Alberto Rivera, creator and owner of the chain.
They soon realized there was no information about this new idea, not for what they had to do. They were given the task, and for a period of three (3) months after dozens of attempts, each of them came to what is now "Pizza a Cone."
With the help of family and friends, that God was putting on their road, they began in Camuy, Puerto Rico. But like every beginning, they started it in a very small cart, 6 'wide by 9' long, with barely room to move.
As good fighters, dreamers and winers, they worked hard, overcoming obstacles, and bringing something new to the market. Months later, it was time to grow and Pizza a Cone, developed a "Food Truck" for the expansion of the chain in Puerto Rico, located in Anasco, PR.
Believing for more, and watching for what would be the next steps, in November 2013, through a call, God set the time for what Pizza a Cone was going to be in the United States. On February 25, 2015, they opened the doors for Pizza a Cone in Kissimmee. His first restaurant of Konos shaped pizza and "frappes" in the United States.
